Wet room floors fitted across Norwich, from Victorian terraces in the Golden Triangle to the newer builds out at Cringleford. Tanked, welded and formed to fall, whether we are working over a concrete slab or a suspended timber floor upstairs.
Most Norwich wet rooms we get asked about are upstairs, in a Victorian or Edwardian terrace, on a suspended timber floor. That is the harder version of this job. You cannot screed a gradient into joists, so the falls have to be formed with a graded former over a decked and reinforced base before anything is tanked. We do that work across central Norwich, Eaton, Thorpe St Andrew, Sprowston, Hellesdon, Cringleford and Costessey, alongside ground-floor conversions and washrooms in care settings.
Older Norwich houses rarely give you a level floor or a convenient waste run to start from, so we check the joist direction and where the drain can actually go before quoting rather than after. If the fall cannot be achieved where you want the gully, you will hear that at the survey, along with what will work instead. Want the full detail on this service? See our Wet Room Flooring page.
