What happens
We look at what the subfloor actually is — timber, screed or concrete — and how flat and how dry it really is.
Concrete and screed are tested before anything goes down. Moisture is the usual reason adhesive lets go months later.
Latex self-levelling compound over screed, plyboarding over timber, and a damp-proof membrane where the readings need one.
You get a flat, dry, stable base, whether we are laying the finished floor afterwards or somebody else is.

Yes. We are based in Great Yarmouth and Gorleston sits well inside the area we work in, along with Great Yarmouth, Bradwell, Belton, Hopton-on-Sea. We cover the NR31 postcodes and the villages around them.
Yes, and it costs nothing. We bring the samples to you so you can see them in your own lighting and against your own décor, rather than under showroom spotlights. There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
We do not publish a fixed price list, because the figure genuinely depends on the room, the subfloor and how much preparation it needs. We measure at the free home visit and give you an itemised quote, so you can see what every part of it costs before deciding.
We do not offer it as an optional extra. Every dip, bump or patch of damp in the subfloor will telegraph through the new floor and show up later as lifting, cracking or creaking. We are not willing to put our name to a floor laid over a subfloor we have not sorted out.
It is structural plywood screwed and glued over existing floorboards to bridge the gaps and give a flat, rigid base. Virtually every timber subfloor needs it before LVT or sheet vinyl goes down. We tell you at the survey whether yours does.
