Vinyl Sheet fitters serving Lowestoft
For a Lowestoft bungalow, family home or holiday let, the choice starts with room use: an easy-clean kitchen, a comfortable bedroom or stairs that need a secure finish. We discuss LVT, sheet vinyl and carpet separately, check the existing floor and explain any preparation in your quote. Our team travels from Great Yarmouth; samples come to you.
Whether it's a single room or a whole property in Lowestoft, we measure precisely, prepare the subfloor properly and fit to a standard we're proud to put our name to. Want the full detail on this service? See our Vinyl Sheet Flooring page.

What happens
How a vinyl sheet job runs in Lowestoft
- 01
Free home visit
We measure the room and work out whether it takes a single sheet or needs a seam, and where that seam would fall.
- 02
Samples at your door
Wood, stone and tile effects brought to you, then an itemised quote covering the preparation as well as the vinyl.
- 03
Subfloor smoothed
Cushion vinyl is thin and forgiving of nothing: any bump or ridge underneath reads straight through it, so it gets flattened first.
- 04
Laid and sealed
Fitted in one piece wherever the room allows, then sealed at the perimeter and at any threshold so water cannot get underneath.

Vinyl Sheet in Lowestoft, answered
Yes. We are based in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft sits well inside the area we work in, along with Oulton Broad, Pakefield, Carlton Colville, Beccles. We cover the NR32–NR33 postcodes and the villages around them.
Yes, and it costs nothing. We bring the samples to you so you can see them in your own lighting and against your own décor, rather than under showroom spotlights. There is no obligation to book anything afterwards.
We do not publish a fixed price list, because the figure genuinely depends on the room, the subfloor and how much preparation it needs. We measure at the free home visit and give you an itemised quote, so you can see what every part of it costs before deciding.
Wherever the room allows, yes. Cushion vinyl comes in wide rolls, so most domestic rooms take a single sheet with no seams anywhere, which is exactly why it works so well in bathrooms, utilities and wet areas.
A quality cushion vinyl fitted on a properly prepared subfloor will typically last ten to fifteen years in a home. Most of the difference between one that lasts and one that does not comes from the preparation underneath rather than the vinyl itself.

What Our Clients Say
“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!, struggling to find somebody to fit wet room flooring for years, Compass Flooring came up through a 'find a builder' site. I cant even express the quality of the work, and how friendly they are. The care taken, the superb workmanship and expert ability to cover every fine detail. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I have this company saved for future flooring, including my next carpeting project. I cant thank this company enough.”

They removed all my furniture and put it back for me after (even the bath and toilet). They couldn’t do enough for me and I am over the moon with it the finish is perfect and at a reasonable price. Highly recommend”

“We used Compass after they were recommended to us and couldn’t be happier with the service from start to finish. The new flooring has been laid to a really high standard and was very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality of both the flooring and workmanship. Would definitely recommend Compass to anyone looking for a reliable flooring contractor.”
Darren Crowe
“Very simple and fuss free company to deal with. I was recommended by a friend who had recently used these guys and I. Glad that he did. I sent a request via their website and I was promptly contacted by a chap called baron. One of his team then came to mine with samples of laminate but I was advised to go LVT due to my dogs and heavy foot traffic. Extremely grateful for their honest advice and perfect execution of the job. Thanks again guys!”
